Captain Marvel Jr. #87, circa 1950. This one makes it on the ridiculous story choice alone. Who wants to read about the Robot Farmer? Freddy doesn't even look interested in this story. No information on the artist.

My apologies for another late post. I know this is the highlight of so many peoples' week. Exciting Comics #35 , circa 1944, features an awesomely politically incorrect cover by Alex Schomburg. The Black Terror, a Superman-level hero, machine guns down the Japanese while his sidekick, Timmy, steamrolls 'em. Such a different time...

Well, I think this one speaks for itself. I would think a divorce lawyer might be cheaper than a coffin, but it's nowhere near as hilarious. EC Comics' The Vault of Horror #35, circa 1953, comes via the talented hands of Johnny Craig.
